The Empire page lists a lot of things, but I'm curious about others. Forgive me if other Submissions already cover these Ideas.

Days of the week? Probably wouldn't use our names as several are references to Norse mythos (Wednesday = Odin's Day, Thursday = Thor's Day, Friday = Frida's Day)

Months of the year? Again, references to Roman gods, and Earth's Caesars. Janus, Julius, Augustus... The October, December ones might still work, though...?

One sun only?

Moon or moons? Tidal strength? Apparent size of moon?

Planet or planets?

Miles from one end of the empire to the other? Latitude? Radius of planet? Degrees inclination of the planet?

Tornadoes in the empire? Hurricanes on the coast? Earthquakes? Dust storms? Freezing in the winter all over? Probably since The Destruction at least, right?

Which bodies of water are salt water? Fresh water?

Or am I jumping WAY too far ahead of the game and all of these questions will be resolved in due time? :-)

At the moment, I've been using 7 day weeks. No specific day names have come up, but for the sake of simplicity, I was going to use the Norse-based names - Monday, Tuesday, etc.

Months of the year - again, nothing has yet been firmly established. Shurijo and I have discussed this system:
A lunar based calendar consisting of 13 months of 28 days each and a single day known as the "Emperor's Day" that is not contained within a month - rather like a New Years Day. I would prefer we use something other than January, March, August, etc. but nothing has yet been established.

Clock technology: sundials, hourglasses, candle clocks, water clocks (some of intricate complexity) and even strange examples of automata (or possibly magical) clocks can be found throughout Gallidon. Every great city has at least one celestial observatory.

One sun, one moon, tides similar to what Earth experiences.

A night sky full of bright lights - some scholars claim these lights are other planets and other suns. Much of the populace mocks such theories.

Size of the planet, seasons, etc. - all similar to Earth. Size of the Empire is indicated to the best of Imperial Cartography skills on the map of the Empire.

Tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, dust storms, blizzards, droughts, pestilence, flooding: all these has been known throughout the ages. They do seem to be occurring more frequently since the Destruction.

The outer oceans and the Inner Sea are salt water. The rivers and lakes are fresh unless otherwise established for a particular location in a particular Work.
