Castle Approach

Following the ravine as it rises towards the foothills, a view opens up between the stately trees. Fortifications are visible, perhaps blocking access to the lands beyond. And a palace -- or is it a temple -- stands proudly on the ridge. Will this be a place of refuge, or another obstacle on the route to the East?

Very cool scene. Makes me want to approach the castle. I like the use of color to show distance and when I look closely there's a surprising amount of detail to see. Well done.
