As the *apparently* new guy here, I felt a little bit obligated to introduce myself. Name's Ian, and I'm a 20 y.o. college student going to U.Va. I've been an avid fan of fantasy for a long time - The Hobbit was the first 'real' book I ever read - and I've been an aspiring fantasy writer for the past 8 years. Since I graduated high school in '07 I have been working on a novel, which has gone through various stages of progress.
I really like the open-endedness of the world you guys have created here - there is just enough established story to make writing here appealing. Just expect me to work the Workshop forum into the ground. :D
