The map itself was created using photoshop. I imported the image and did all the animation in flash.

Andy used the same method to create more detailed area maps for the RPG module The Light at Bodkin Bay of the Gull Bay region and the drilled down terrain of Bodkin Bay itself.

perhaps Andy would like to do a tutorial on map making?

We're kicking around the idea of putting together a video of our map process. Of course, it requires us to decide which area to create a detailed map for. My personal current projects take place at sea, in the High Hills and in the city of Tar Mira. Not sure a good map is required for these.
Assuming we can get organized and overcome our own camera shyness, any ideas on a area you'd like to see a more detailed map for?

A map of the area or a very loose map of the city?
Scott's played around in Dead Port a bit. I haven't poked my head in the area in a while. We'll start digging through the notes and see what we have.
No promises, mind you... :-) but suggestions usually help us steer.

I've been running around the Illuminated Peaks for the past several months (trying to tease out a novel involving Spirits and Souls), but I could use a vacation. I hear Dead Port's lovely this time of year...
